Liv is loved in the Philippines!
In front of a record crowd of approximately 55,000 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan, Filipino American pop superstar Olivia Rodrigo embraced the warmth of her Filipino fans, expressing her feelings with heartfelt words, “Tonight, when I’m with you guys, I am feeling so Filipino.”
Rodrigo even sported a “Pinoy Pride” top and a “Miss So Filipina” sash in one of her stages on Oct. 5. The venue buzzed with excitement as Filo Livies, including a host of Filipino celebrities, eagerly gathered to witness the “Filipina princess” perform for the very first time in her ancestral homeland.
Among them was actress Andrea Brillantes, who had previously gone viral for her excitement upon hearing of the “Drivers License” hitmaker’s concert announcement.

The Filipina actress said that she made it a point to arrive early, ensuring she was among the first in line, despite facing backlash regarding her perceived VIP treatment. In her Instagram post, she noted, there wasn’t a “VIP treatment or anything magical.”
Zia Dantes, daughter of renowned actors Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, was also spotted enjoying the concert, sharing a touching moment as she waved to Rodrigo, prompting her mother to caption the moment, “Kung saan ka masaya, Anak, nandito lang kami para suportahan ka! We love you! [Olivia Rodrigo] Salamat pinasaya mo si Ate Zia.”

In a heartfelt post, he shared, “Kahit mag-isa lang ako kanina at may konting buhos ng luha, ramdam kitang sumasabay sa bawat kanta,” with a photo of JM he captured in front of the arena.
Rodrigo shared her emotions with the Pinoy audience, stating, “It’s my first time in the Philippines! This is such a dream come true. Tonight is extra special because I believe this is the biggest show I’ve ever played in my whole entire life.”
